This week’s I am attending the 17th SIPit event in Stockholm, Sweden, hosted by the fine folks at Hotsip. I was walking with some friends from the States and enjoying an after dinner stroll around the downtown district of Kungsträdgården when "M" was describing a trip he took to Germany:
M: …so I happened to have a spare Dr. Pepper, like I usually do…
A: "Spare Dr. Pepper?"
M: Yeah.
A: You import them?
M: Yeah. So I tried to mime that I wanted ice..
A: From home?

Yeah, he’s pretty attached to the Dr. Pepper. He’s one of the Mac guys up here, and has an appropriately minimally-decorated office (at least, if you ignore the oscilliscope) — so, the tiny little 200 ml can of Dr. Pepper sitting on his desk seems a bit out of place. That is, until you understand his relationship with the beverage.
