Week Number 2 in “The Challenge”!

I have been successful! Yay! Actually I have been more than successful, I feel lighter already and I have been able to really settle into our new home. I’m quite excited about it. I even managed to get pictures up on the walls. Typically they sit on the floor leaning next to the wall in the spot where I think… (more…)

Lightening My Load

So… I have a few more things to get rid of. Not quite 10 yet but getting close. But one thing that I have been doing that feels great… I have been unsubscribing from blogs that I either don’t read, don’t enjoy or make me feel bad when I read them. I have also been deleting email that I have… (more…)

Too Much Stuff!!! Need your help!

I knew that we had too much stuff but the last couple of places that we lived in were big enough to handle it. But… now this place is a wee bit smaller and we have to share the garage. So, it makes it way more obvious that we have too much stuff. A is unwilling to admit it. Actually… (more…)

I’ve enjoyed reading her blog for a while now but keep seeing criticism in the comments. I have felt pulled to respond because free range parenting is a pet interest of mine. I keep seeing helicopter… (more…)

Airplane 4

I left Edmonton uneventfully. I had a couple of seats to myself and enjoyed them, sadly however the flight was only 24 minutes long. I was soon landing in Calgary to catch my flight to San Francisco. I boarded my plane and for a short while it looked as though I was going to again have a couple of seats… (more…)

Land Humor – The Revenge of the Gopher and How my Dad Won Anyway

Picture this: On the land. I arrived on Thursday afternoon. Dad came and picked me up at the airport. My mom and sister were out picking up construction supplies for work on the land. They were not due home for hours. Dad had some difficulty getting mom’s car going but thankfully it had been parked on a hill so he… (more…)
